About Us

GA telecomunicazioni stands for Gabriele Argenti telecomunicazioni, as it is around his experience that our company was born and develops.
A unique experience started almost half a century ago, in 1962, with the installation of High Voltage lines (220KV / 380KV) and radio links, first in Italy and shortly afterwards in Iraq, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
At the beginning of the 70’s, Mr. Argenti began the installation of coaxial cables for long distance telecommunications in Italy and Saudi Arabia. In 1974, again in Saudi Arabia, in 1974, he started the first successful attempts of laying Coaxial cables using the Static Mole Plough. During the second half of the 70’s he was busy installing radio links in Oman, Sudan, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

At the beginning of the 80’s, new demands, curiosity and experience pushed Mr. Argenti to create a brand new multiple laying system that allowed to bury cables, tubes, warning tape and lightning protection rope, all in a single pass. This is when “Ornella” saw the light, the first multiple laying Static Mole Plough. After the first perplexities, the huge disproportion in performance, between the traditional laying and “Ornella”, ruled the success of the “Pushed plough” on any kind of terrain.
The first years of the 90’s were dedicated to the great surveys for the realization of radio links and Fiber Optic infrastructures in Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Romania and Jordan. In the second half of the decade, Mr. Argenti began producing on his own the multiple laying static plough on behalf of several multinationals: Al Mozoon Group, Lucent Technologies, Itea Iternational, Sirti spa, Met srl, etc.
The first decade of the 2000 saw us involved in mobile telephone infrastructures, in spreading and marketing of microducts & microcables products and their accessories, and representing for Italy – Libya – Saudi Arabia well-known companies producing equipment for power lines, both overhead and buried, and special machines for cable laying using the “blowing” system.
All this has allowed us to continue with even more devotion in the following fields: research; improvement of our products; homologation of new products; designing services; project management; consultancy on human resources, equipments and materials management.

In this way, GA Telecomunicazioni is a merge of a wide technical, territorial and human knowledge shared with a dynamic and motivated team, able to enhance and continue a course started more than forty-five years ago.
